Comments: Hi All! Well I was quite surprised to see this Guestbook in Eagle Lake. I am the daughter of Rosaire & Annabelle Tardie, sister of Phil,Sandy, Myra and the late Ken Tardie. Mother of Jeffrey Baker and grandmother to his beautiful daughter, Aubrey. Have been gone for 20+ years and seldom go to visit 'home'. My husband and I have a summer place in Kennebunkport so going up there does not happen often and my family comes down to visit us. Still have good memories of Eagle Lake and how beautiful the lake is all seasons. Being that I lived on the lake and owned Camps of Acadia for quite a few years it's hard to forget the beauty of that lake. Some of you talk about the Silver Slipper and I remember that place, the old "Babes" on Main St. and then Babes on Rte 11 and of course who could forget the Peter Pan? Yes it sure was the good old days. I think of the place often and no I would never move back there. My land has been sold as of last year and now we are making a move to TN. I have decided that southern living is for me and no more New England! I wish all of you well and I recognize many names (hello to Rachel Thibodeau and Pam Perrault..to the good old days) Konnie

Comments: My Mother is Violet Blanchette. Her parents were Phebian Nicknair and George Blanchette. She was born in 1923 in Eagle Lake and grew up there. She had 4 brothers (Albert, Hampy, Leo and Eudo)and 3 sisters (Geneve, Lucille and Simone) We used to go to Visit Memere every summer during the 1950s and early 60s. Great place that generated lasting memories.

Comments: My Nana, Lucille (Labbee) Gilbert, and my mamae Veronica Labbee are from Eagle Lake. I have spent numerous summers at my mamae's home until she passed, and I have not been back since. I believe that my nana(Lucille) had/has brothers that are still in Eagle Lake, and if so I would like to know you. I feel lost without mamae and nana and would really like to know you, if you are out there. I believe that Lucille's brother's name is Norman, and that is all that i know. So, Norman if you get this, I would really like to chat or if at all possible, to meet. Thanks, Lyndsay
