Comments: I came across this site while researching my heritage I would LOVE to hear from any one who may know or have photos or info related to my family. My grandfather Perley Joseph Corriveau was born 1915 in Portage Lake. His father Joseph 1856-1923 was born in Eagle Lake or Kent and died in Millinocket. The dates may be off but any personal knowledge or photos would be top notch! robs87vette at gmail dot com

Comments: Both my mother and father were born and brought up in Eagle Lake. My mother was Emily Madore, who married Russell Roy, my Dad. If I remember correctly Sifois Nadeau, the town founder, is my maternal great grandfather. My parents moved away from Eagle Lake to work, but retired there in the family homestead on rte. 11. My mother was the last to pass on in 1986 and I have not been back many times since. But all roads lead back to Eagle Lake in my mind, and I still have many family members in Winterville, Fort kent, and other nearby towns. What a lovely place. Too bad so many have to leave to get gainful employment.

Comments: I have spent many hours on the computer looking for information on my Grandpa Doustout's family. I found this wonderful Guestbook to look at and I'm hoping someone will know of my family. The only information I have is that my Grandpa was the oldest of 19 children and born in 1920. His Daddy was Onizime Doustout born 1883 and his Mama was Sarah Soucy Doustout born 1903. In 1940 they lived in Winterville Plantation. I have the names of some of his brothers and sisters, Wilbert, Rita, Gisele, Wilfrid, Authur, Eddie, Reno, Jimmie, Aldre, Raymond, Louis, Irene, Rosetta Doustou or Doustout. If anyone knows anything I would love to here from you!
